Let's Learn Writing (Small Group)

Let’s Learn Writing (Small Group) is designed to help students develop clear, structured, and analytical writing skills essential for secondary school success. This course guides learners through the process of planning, writing, and refining essays across a range of subjects, including English, humanities, and beyond.

Students will learn how to build strong arguments, organise ideas into well-developed paragraphs, and support their points with relevant evidence. Key skills such as writing effective introductions and conclusions, using advanced vocabulary, and applying accurate grammar and punctuation are embedded throughout each session.

Through guided practice and engaging topics, learners gain confidence in expressing their opinions and developing critical thinking. Teachers provide personalised feedback to help students improve their clarity, depth, and overall writing style.

In a focused small group environment, students are supported to challenge themselves, share ideas, and refine their work. By the end of the course, they will be able to write structured, coherent essays with confidence—preparing them for GCSE-level expectations and beyond.
