English Literature (Small Group)

Join this engaging English Literature course designed for KS3 learners (ages ~11–14) who are ready to explore a range of literary texts in greater depth. In this small group class, students will develop their analytical reading, critical thinking, and discussion skills while studying a variety of fiction, drama, and poetry. This course focuses on helping learners move beyond basic comprehension to interpretation and analysis. Students will explore themes, characters, language, structure, and context, learning how authors create meaning and how to support their ideas with textual evidence. Each session is interactive and discussion-based, encouraging learners to share interpretations, debate ideas, and build confidence in expressing their views both verbally and in writing. Learners will also develop academic vocabulary and structured response skills that support school-level English studies.
