The Speech & Language Screening is a brief online session designed to identify key areas of a learner’s communication and language development. During this session, an experienced Speech and Language Therapist or teacher will: -Observe the learner’s listening, understanding, and expressive language skills -Assess narrative and social communication abilities -Note links between communication and literacy, such as vocabulary, comprehension, and sentence structure Following the screening, a concise report will be provided summarising: -Communication strengths -Areas of need -Practical next steps for support This screening is ideal for children and young people with SEND, literacy difficulties, or communication challenges, and acts as a first step towards a more detailed Communication & Literacy Profile Assessment if required.
